i was at the match. Pretty sad thinking about it though because it reminds me of what a talented player Kournikova was and equally how sad it is that Hantuchova's game was not allowed to naturally develop from the stage it was at that point. She had so much ability and natural court sense which has pretty much vanished from her singles game today.

I already have that match on DVD, one of the best doubles match I have ever seen:drool: absolutely a delight to watch, except the one horrible game from Martina when she served for the match in the second set;) I remember one rallie in the third set between Martina and Arantxa, it was a crosscourt backhand to backhand exchange until Martina unleashed a fantastic backhand winner down the line behind Hantuchova:worship:

1 -- hingis is genius
2 -- kournikova hit the ball waaaaaaaaay too flat
3 -- hantuchova was better then -- especially the serve & movement -- than she is now

Haha unfortunately thats all the Hingis/Anna matches I have at the moment. I uploaded Hingis/Seles vs Williams/Williams also so check that out if you havent yet, its very entertaining. I also have Hingis/Seles vs. Capriati/Dokic but for whatever reason when I tried to upload it it wasnt cooperating with my ripper. It's a shame tho, its also super entertaining.
