Mircic is not a "sub 500" player any more. On the last monday list she is nr. 464, with this win just above 400 (with a win in the next round top 400), and worth much more than her ranking.

I realize her results have picked up recently, but I'm just disapointed that Varvara can never seem to build off her successes this year. She's going to have to pick it up if she wants to compete at a higher level and get herself in the top 100...and losing to Mircic won't get her there.

Take it easy, mate. I just wanted to point out that Mircic is no harmless opponent. And Varvara might be tired after the last week.

Saw a few matches today also....watched Fernandez/Henke match. They split sets and Clarissa was up when I had to leave....Edina was playing on the other court vs. Bachmann. I THINK that Sequera def. Rao. Saw the Fedak/Fedossova match and Fedak won. She is the quickest thing I've ever seen! I'll try to call a few friends up at the courts later and see if they know any scores. If successful, I'll post them. Doubles are probably going on still.
