Las locales tendrán de contrarias a las estadounidenses Chrissie Seredni y Juliana Gates, que este viernes fueron mejores 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 que su compatriota Mami Inoue y la venezolana Mariana Muci.

Las mayores posibilidades para Cuba están dadas precisamente en el doble, debido a que Núñez/Fors han exhibido buena cohesión y jugar en casa debe ayudarles psicológicamente.

Durante la justa ha dado la impresión de que Seredni tiene un nivel superior de juego que Gates, quien tiene mucho camino por andar.

Para la disputa del título individual las mayores opciones son para Florencia Molinero, una rubia argentina que ocupa el lugar 920 en el ranking mundial y aquí ha enseñado buenos desplazamientos, excelente servicio e inteligencia para administrar sus recursos, sobre todo ante la veterana artemiseña Yanet Núñez.
