I was just wondering how many hours some of you have clocked up in total cpu time?
I have only 1:19:23:24 but hope for many more in the future.

I think it adds them all up together.:wavey: :wavey: per4ever Apr 25th, 2002, 06:50 PM but you have 6 devices installed?? and you never turn of your computers? Rocketta Apr 25th, 2002, 06:52 PM No I only have 3. I had a problem with one of them and had to reinstall the software a couple of times. I don't know why it says 6 but there are only 3 running at any one time. 1 at home and 2 at work. :) Scott Storm Apr 26th, 2002, 06:10 AM Much respect to you Rocketta! Very impressive indeed. Rocketta Apr 26th, 2002, 05:43 PM Thanks Scott!! Per---I just saw the second question?? No I never cut off my computers. I didn't before I download the UD. They say you loose a lot of hard drive life by cutting your computer on and off. Kind of like stopping and starting in a car, hiway miles are way better than city miles if you understand me. I reboot my system occassionally and sometimes I manually cut the agent off if I'm doing system maintenance or something but no they basically run all the time. :) per4ever Apr 26th, 2002, 05:54 PM that's true...but well your harddisk will normally last 'till you get a new computer...even if you reboot all the time. Well a reboot is often necessary since Windows swallows memory and it has some memory bugs in it..so it doesn't release all memory..so slowly your RAM gets filled... Umm, yeah but your system is obsolete after 2 years anyway.;) Or you want a new system after that. I know I do!! j/j I went ahead and payed a lot for my system so I think I can get 4 years out of it. At least I hope.  |
