She hasn't played since Wimbledon and isn't on the list for any of the events in the UK this fall. I think she might have just quit. I know she's not injured...perhaps blowing match points against Morigami and Karantacheva in the first round of Birmingham and Eastbourne was too much for her mentally. Not to mention she's got a college degree and is in her late 20s...she doesn't need to running around the world making peanuts if she doesn't want to.
Any updates?

Amanda got married this summer and the grass court tournaments this summer were basically to decide her future in tennis. Sadly, she had some big opportunities that she was unable to capitalize on and with first round exits, I think that secured her decision that it was time to move on after putting everything she has into becoming the best she could be over the last year or so. Hopefully Amanda will have continued success in her personal life now, she's a nice lady and I am sure her unique game will be missed by many of us!
