Kim Clijsters to regain the top singles ranking.

LADIES TENNIS TOUR - 22-year-old Russian Anastasia Myskina has recovered the World No.1 singles ranking, after winning the Tier IA challenge event in Miami.

Myskina previously achieved the top singles ranking on October ninth, 99 days ago.

The achievement records the Muscovite as the World No.1 in both the LTT singles and doubles standings.

"It's a great achievement," said Myskina. "I proved to myself I can do this, I can fight back and be the best,"

Belgian Kim Clijsters currently stands at No.2, just a small 5 points behind a refined Myskina.

A Tier 2 tournament in Vancouver unfolds, as both Myskina and Clijsters continue their rivalry for the top ranking.
