Welcome to Bordeaux! Here in France we have a second 75K tournament on the ITF part of the PYW Tour, after Dénain last week. Of course the French crowd are hoping for a home winner, which failed to happen in Dénain, but only time will tell, whether that can actually be done! Maybe the wine from the region can be a stimulation to some of the players.

Elise Tamaëla
The semifinals saw two very interesting matches being played out. In the top half of the draw, Elise Tamaëla won the first set easily against luckly loser, Sweden's Hanna Nooni, before having to save four set points and taking the second set in a tiebreak. In the bottom half of the draw, Slovakia's Jarmila Gajdosova won the first set of her match 6-3 and appeared to be heading towards an easy victory, going up 5-3 in the second. However, her opponent, Germany's Sabine Klaschka, had other thoughts, and she fought until the end before finally succumbing in a tiebreak.
It is now time to vote for the player that you want to win this tournament!
Final:
Elise Tamaëla NED vs. Jarmila Gajdosova SVK [Q]
