Welcome to Beijing! The capital of China hosts a 50 K tournament this week. Out of the limelight of the big game in the US it will give players a chance to make it to the big level, like in ITF Dénain. As expected lots of Asian and Australian players choose to play here close to home. The Chinese are of course hoping for a home win. But considering the PYW rankings of the players present, it's an incredibly weak field for a 50 K.

In the bottom half the highest ranked player remaining in the draw, Suchanun Viratprasert, easily made it through and she will face another easy victor, Mi-Ra Jeon.
