PYW - ITF Beijing

Welcome to Beijing! The capital of China hosts a 50 K tournament this week. Out of the limelight of the big game in the US it will give players a chance to make it to the big level, like in ITF Dénain. As expected lots of Asian and Australian players choose to play here close to home. The Chinese are of course hoping for a home win. But considering the PYW rankings of the players present, it's an incredibly weak field for a 50 K.

The semifinals saw two of the four top seeds move on into the semifinals. Top seed Sunitha Rao played her third straight three-set match and won again, securing her spot in the semis. Ding Ding had to save multiple match points in beating fellow Chinese, third seed Meng Yuan, in a third set tiebreak. In the bottom half the highest ranked player remaining in the draw, Suchanun Viratprasert, easily made it through and she will face another easy victor, Mi-Ra Jeon.

Now it's all up to you to decide who gets to make it to the final!. Vote for who you want to win these semifinal matches!

I think Meng Yuan made it because E. Dementieva's vote counted for 2

His post does not indicate him voting twice.

Ok, I just thought we automatically counted the vote for two if it came after you said we could vote twice. Do you want me to change it now?

No, it does not go automatically, usually people that voted before can vote again. If new people vote it still counts for one, unless they indicate it.

If you could change it, it would be ok.
