PYW - ITF Dénain
http://www.ville-denain.fr/eglise.jpg
Welcome to Dénain! Here in France players that did not make it at the US Open get a chance to have a change of surface and try their hand at clay tennis. The city hosts a 75 K ITF tournament and with a lot of players still playing in the US lower ranked players have a chance to shine without having to defend points on the PYW Tour. As a result only four players ranked in the Top 100 have graced us with their presence here.

Lubomira Kurhajcova SVK
The semifinals saw very little suspense as the two winners were clearly better than their opponent each time. Jarmila Gajdosova defeated Kaia Kanepi of Estonia easily 6-1 6-4, thus avenging the loss in the final of ITF Vittel earlier this season. Jarmila is trying to capture her second title after ITF Washington. She might very well have difficulties with Lithuanian qualifier Lina Stanciute, who surprised everyone by reaching the final, seeing off Czech Katerina Bohmova in the semifinals. She is looking for her first title, but is Jarmila going to be her biggest hurdle yet or will she prevail in this final battle here in Dénain.
Now it's all up to you to decide who gets to win the title. Vote for who you want to win in this final match!
Final:
