PYW - ITF Beijing

Welcome to Beijing! The capital of China hosts a 50 K tournament this week. Out of the limelight of the big game in the US it will give players a chance to make it to the big level, like in ITF Dénain. As expected lots of Asian and Australian players choose to play here close to home. The Chinese are of course hoping for a home win. But considering the PYW rankings of the players present, it's an incredibly weak field for a 50 K.

Vilmarie Castellvi PUR
The second round saw more excitement than the first. Sophie Ferguson of Australia had to battle hard, but finally had to succumb to China's qualifier Ding Ding, who now faces the only other Chinese entrant still left. Meng Yuan had no trouble at all with another Australian Tiffany Eklov. Another favourite that bowed out was Puertorican Vilmarie Castellvi. She lost in three sets to South Korea's Mi-Ra Jeon.
Now it's all up to you to decide who gets to make it to the last 4 in the draw. Vote for who you want to win these quarterfinal matches!
