One question: I recorded parts today from Wimbledon Live coverage just to see if it works...when I played the recorded items, the media player asked for the license. Is there any way I can get rid of that?

I want to keep the files longer than just 40 days or whatever.

i love how these routine wins from Amelie and Maria are put up with no problem, but it is like pulling teeth to get Venus' match. She came back from 5-2 in the second for crying out loud in prob a better played match than either Amelie or Maria had to play. Please put this Venus match up!!

Why should they pass over recording their favorites just so that you can come in here and download the match without a problem. If someone recorded the match, it will be posted sooner or later. If you can't wait, then go and get your ass a capture card and record the matches yourself.

That doesn't really seem fair. What about the Venus fans that are not attacking people and being patient and waiting. So what? Because of one person, I do not get see the match, well that's not really fair. I am waiting patiently for someone, and if it doesn't happen. Oh well.

I am a Venus fan, but for the Americans who are like only WS fans, you should seriously be appreciative of the fact that they actually get covered. Elena Dementieva, yeah, she's seeded 7th, believe it or not, is usually not mentioned during slams until around the QFs. Many other people are lucky to see their favs play a few times a year. Please don't attack people for a match. You'll get to see many, many more.

this is so true,sharapova is my favorite so routine match or not it goes up first,I'm not sure people realise how much time/effort goes into the whole thing,the actual setting up the compter to capture,capture cards,big seperate capture harddrive,hooking upto cable tv,software and then doing the capture itself,couple of hours to encode to xvid and the depending on size upto 8 hours to upload to megaupload,these days there must be stacks of people who have recorded matches to dvd etc so why are these people not helping to upload matches?

I agree with you. My point was that the uploader has that on his mind so we should all express our thanks profusely when we download something. Whether that be by a comment, good rep, or vCash donation. I appreciate it very much. Luckily, this Wimbledon I haven't had to download any matches -- woot woot! Love the DVR. :lol:

By me BBC showed the match Venus Williams vs. Lisa Raymond Wimbledon 2006 second round from 7-6 5-2 for Raymond, so I don't have the complete match.

I believe it will be on Court 2, following the Kim Clijsters match...
Right now, Ferrero and Stepanek are entering a final set, which hopefully will get done by 5 in London... Kim's match shouldn't take too long, so I'm guessing Venus and Bob's mixed match will start at around 6:30 on Court 2. But I guess an earlier start to recording could be safe :d

No worries though if you can't capture it. :)

no, i think venus played off and on during the match, the second set was really good stuff, long rallies, lots of tension, by 4-3 third set, it was very dramatic, venus saving those match points was awesome too.

I guess so but her drive volleys particularly on the bh were just non existent, she was missing sitters at the net the best part was really when Vee was on the brink and fought back frm 30-15 on Jankovic's serve at 5-3 in the 3rd and when she was down the mps, but those df's in her last 2 service games were painful for Vee fans :sad:

Do you have a file called "2006 RG SF Hen-Clij.avi"?
Yes:
- Open that file with VLC media player.
No:
- You should have 2 part files, start the one that ends with .part1.exe and press install. The program just joins the parts to one file.
- You should now see "2006 RG SF Hen-Clij.avi" in the same folder.
- Open that file with VLC media player.
