Orangina Jun 1st, 2005, 04:04 PM how small has a country to be, to be part of this games?
andrewC Jun 1st, 2005, 06:44 PM What a cool little tournament, giving the smaller fish in the ocean a chance to shine :D
Mambo Jun 1st, 2005, 07:13 PM It isn't just a tennistournament
It is a competition for the 8 smallest european countries (Iceland, Cyprus, Monaco, Luxembourg, Andorra, Malta, Liechtenstein and San Marino)
A competition like the Olympic Games with many sports like Volleyball, Basket Ball, Swimming, Athletics, Judo, Table Tennis, ...
In 2003, Claudine Schaul won the gold medal and Mandy Minella the silver medal
In doubles, they won also together.
Mandy, this time the 2 Gold Medals are for you !
Drimal Jun 1st, 2005, 07:25 PM Mandy Minella will have no problems here to win her first gold medal (after the silver medal two years ago)! :drive:
Go Mandy and Lynn! :bounce: :rocker2:
controlfreak Jun 1st, 2005, 10:59 PM Nice to see 16-year-old Lynn Philippe getting some more experience under her belt. Hopefully she will try a couple more ITFs later this year.
Go Mandy!

Circoletto Jun 2nd, 2005, 06:38 AM how small has a country to be, to be part of this games?
I've read the statute on official site (www.andorra2005.ad/en/): countries must have less than 1 million of inhabitants and a own olympic commitee (this point cuts off Vatican City :) ).
Today are scheduled the single semifinals (Minella-Camenzuli, Philippe-Vogt) and a double quarterfinal (byes for other three)
Go Lisa Camenzuli, smallest fish in the ocean  ! Get your chance to shine! (AndrewC copyright :D )
Circoletto Jun 2nd, 2005, 01:44 PM Semifinal
Mandy d. Lisa 61 60

Take gold for Luxembourg Mandy!
I was right that Vogt beats Philippe. Stephanie already did well on the ITF tour and is just 14 years old. Last year she played two 25000$ Challengers in Vaduz and Lenzerheide and lost 46 76 06 to Visic and 26 62 16 vs Parmentier
