That's so cool to hear this. Well, Nanda has never said anything about playing with Marie-Eve or any other player either, but they usually get some nice results together. They might know each other very well, and they're kinda big rivals too, because almost every year Brazil and Canada face each other in the Fed Cup, and the Canucks always win :mad: :lol:, not to mention that they usually meet each other in the tournaments in USA and Mexico too :p

I haven't been checking the challenger forum often enough- who is this Romina? I've got to find out more!!! Great tournament for her- very impressive results!!! Okay, I just checked out Romina and what a year she is having! Nice to see her successful play at the 10K level being matched by consistent results at the 50K level!! Romina and his father

I've never seen playing Oprandi and i have only a very vague idea of her style and her characteristics. She is born ('86) and grow up in deutsch Switzerland; two years ago becomes italian but nowadays she speaks only few words of our language. Not tall but very strong, Romina seems perfect for the clay. In this season she has only played on this surface, where has conquered 35 victories on 39 matches.

My day at Marseille :

I've come at the little club in which took place this ITF...lol i need half and hour to find the central court. There was nobody :rolleyes: . I sat in a chair and waited...and i saw a young blond girl with a mp3 reader on her ears with a big racket bag...i couldnt see her head...and i finally understood that it was Viktoriya Kutuzova :eek:
I went to her and said :
"Viktoriya ??"
"Yes..."
"Oh my God...i havent recognized you"
"Nobody recognizes me..." (poor little girl lol)
Then we talked half and hour together :) She told me that she was very cool and motivated for her match whereas the fact she didn't feel good at Marseille and in this tournament. "Oh you know I'm in the semis but I want to leave from here...now I know what real professional tournaments are and it misses me today..."
We talked about the tour, and told me that she was finally happy that there was a limitation of number of tournaments for girls of her age because she said "We are at the half of the season but I'm physicly dead" I was quite shocked :rolleyes:
She told me that some players proposed her to play doubles but that it was out of question. About other girls, she told me that there was a very cool atmosphere in the locker rooms of the most important part of the tournaments, and that she had a very good contact with Russian in particular. She just told with a large smile "hum...Sharapova is not my friend" lol
She told me that the player who impressed her the most was Davenport because she managed to kill her physicly during her match at Charleston or Miami, I don't know.
Then we took photos with my camera and I let her prepare her match.

The match began very quickly by a large domination of Vikky who did what she wanted of the ball...Marie-Eve looked tired and not motivated, she didnt run and after having lost the first set 6-0, she received a very long medical traitement on her leg. Vikky seemed more and more anxious, made a lot of unforced errors, and her anxiety was visible in the fact that she systematicly asked a verification of the ball's impact. lol

The game was more and more tense and the match became very exciting with only winners from both girls ! And the tie break came...
Marie-Eve lead 3-0, 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 4-4 :tape: Then Vikky lead 5-4...then 5-5 , 6-5 Pelletier...6-6, 7-6 Kutuzova match point...7-7, 8-7, 9-7 Pelletier :fiery: :fiery: :fiery:

The third set was very close contrary what the score could tell us...but Marie-Eve won all key points and easily detached to lead 5-1, then 5-2, and conclude 6-2 by a beautiful smash.
Vikky was about to cry and left the court very quickly.
