View Full Version : List of retired Challenger players

I looked up several Challenger players of the past 6 years and found out that so many have retired, many of them pretty unknown but played some years on the tour

I made a list with retired players or girls who havent played for more than a year

Feel free to add anyone

Sad the list is that long :sad:

Hope she's doing well now. Not so easy for her in Haiti.

EDITED TO ADD: Wouhou, I found Neyssa! :bounce: She's a sophomore at the University of South Florida. She looks great:

Annabel Ellwood is now involved with aussie coaching she has been coaching some of our junior squads same as former tour player kerry-anne guse

melanie clayton and melissa dowse play local tennis leagues still

Melody Falco now a directive in her hometown sports federation

Jessica Fernandez coaching young players in Orlando I believe

Karin Palme played last week don't know what's upwith her

Zerene Reyes was playing NCAA, in fact double baggeled Neyssa Etienne last week ;) lol now retiring to follow a career :) Zere :kiss:

Yes but she struggled this year. She had some really bad losses.

i think that this list was based only on players not played singles because amanda augustus is also listed but has played doubles events quite recently still. :)

she won the NCAA championships, so it looks like she will be playing the US Open this year :D

she just withdrew from allentown, so it seems like she's injured, but i wouldn't be surprised if she retires at the end of the year

She's withdrawn from at least 10 tournaments this year, i think she's retired.
