Anna, Shahar, Tzipi. Beautiful :hearts:. Shahar was ranked to high to play this anyway. It would be a killer spree. Anna though should play this with the way shes playing lately. But she has imporved. Played a good Istanbul then RG. Hopefully something good can happen. :)

Lisicki thrashed Cara Black in Berlin, she's good :) (but should have beaten Panova :mad: )

I don't think Anna will ever play 25K... if she drops out of top-100 she will probably retire...

its long.. so just skip the boring parts :o

Tzipi vs. Sabine - Me and my friend couldn't wait to see our first match live, we always wondered how fast are the ball being strucked. So we set down and saw Sabine starting amazing with a great serve,forehand backhand and basically everything to have a shocking 4-1 lead while the referee aren't really disturbing. there were So many bad calls, especially at the first set. and what was amazing that 90% of them were in favour of Sabine :eek: we and the rest of the crowd started cheering tzipi and it worked. 4-3 after two good games. but Sabine broke again and held to take the set 6-3 :eek: the crowd were shocked! she was playing amazing tennis!
And I must said she looks just like Zvonareva (just somehow way more hot!), the clothes, hat&hair, body, only difference that her additude were much more positive.
In the second set Sabine keeped it up but tzipi raised her level and fought for every ball to with amazing rallys. many winners and few errors! and many actions as both players got mad at the referees as they should, mostly tzipi. she got a 5-3 lead. Saved two bp to deuce. then a good ace was called out in another stupid decision by the referee and sabine got back to 5-5. tzipi raised her level and somehow won the second set set 7-5.
In the start of the third set Sabine looked bad and tired understandably, she set up the points well, but when she tried to finish it she was too tired and missed it. Tzipi raced to a 2-0 lead when she had a little choke to handle Sabine 2 games for 2-2. from then Tzipi played awsome and won 6-2 in the third.
Another similarity to Zvonareva: Sabine couldn't help it and burst into tears after the match, but she soon got over it, smiled and was really nice. She defenetly looked a potential top50 player for me and my friend (he even said top30). She got everything: good serve,forhand,backhand and a nice net game. I'm a new fan :)

during the match I went to see a little bit of the other semi, just as I reach there, I saw 6-4 for Chaknashvili and she took the first game in the second set. then, I saw the trainer being called to the match to treat Kozhokhina. I hurried to get back to tzipis match and after it was over I saw Kozhokhina retired at the same game apprently due to back problems :sad: thats why I didn't see any of that match :(.

I must add i were really impressed at the croud. All people were very civilized, didn't cheer on DF or bad errors, didn't boo,just cheered the israelis and appluaded their oppoments shots if they were good.

Shahar/Tzipi vs. Sandra/Daniela
Tzipi had a hour to rest between the Singles and the Doubles match and meanwhile Sandra/Daniela practiced on court. You could see from the practice they are very good team. They are two lovely tweens who doesn't look Austrian, more like from the Netherlands, who wears the same outfit and look the same except two differences: Sandra with glasses and left handed Daniela witout glasses and right handed :) did you see ever identical twins who are not playing with the same hand?
Match started. All players served well and showing some great net skills (especially Sandra) and held until 4-4 where tzipi served quite poorly and Shahar/Tzipi got broken. 5-4 Sandra/Daniela serving for the first set.
Shahar/Tzipi break back for 5-5 with great shots from the back and at the net.
both teams hold. Tiebreak. Shahar/Tzipi play great and win the tiebreak convincingly :)
Set no. 2: Both teams hold to 2-1 Sandra/Daniela when a series of bad calls against Shahar/Tzipi starts. They get angry and loses focus on the match while Sandra/Daniela (mostly Sandra) using the momentum the step it up and playing some amazing volleys and angle shots. 6-1 Sandra/Daniela second set.
Set no. 3: crowd tries to push Shahar/Tzipi for a good start in the third and it works. Shahar looks out of the match so tzipi step it up for her and with some amazing plays almost by herself and a good serving game by Shahar get to a 3-0 lead which Sandra/Daniela couldn't get from. A 2-3 bad calls against Sandra/Daniela and an injury for one of them (I couldn't tell which one :o ) in that set didn't help also to say at least.

Honestly, Sandra/Daniela played better at this match, they just lost focus on some important points and one of them got injured as well :( , hope they will do well at the future :) Great match from tzipi, I was a little disappointed with Shahar as I expected much more but it wasn't her day. Two things I was really impressed with Shahar was her serve, she served excellent, i think 2-3 aces :D and great net play she showed :)
Sandra was the best player on court for me today.
