PAW: Ich kam zu PAW im Jahr 2004. Damals gab es im Prinzip nur matthias... Frongie auch, aber der schrieb hier nie... Später kam dann Carsten dazu, dann rrfnpump, aber trotz den dann einstellenden Erfolgen ist die Gemeinschaft erst so richtig seit Ende 2005 entstanden. Anfang 2005 dachte ich darüber nach, für CAN zu spielen, aber das verwarf ich wieder (habe auch die Staatsbürgerschaft). Meine mehrfachen Rücktritte sollten ein Ende gefuden haben erstmal. :lol:
Kenne Carsten am besten, Basti mittlerweile aber auch denke ich ganz gut und FrOzon habe ich auch schon getroffen!

when i playing PAW i have one problem, i spend to much attention on other players pick. i picked Peer over Tanasugarn just because i thought "if peer win, and i havent picked her,i will have no chance to win or finish in a good ranking"
but i was so sure Tanasugarn will kick her ass, don´t know why i´m so schizophrenic.
maybe i need a therapist.

I take this game pretty seriously too and so do heaps others, but that's the fun of it, you have some dreadful moments but also some really satisfied ones :D :wavey:

You're not lonely as GER player in PAW, others players in PAW Ranking are Frongie and newcomer crazillo.

It's interesting how countries like France and Germany have so few players, but the smaller Belgium has a lot more.

thanks to Nicole Pratt i finished 2nd in PAW Hyderabad
my best result so far, after 3rd place in Hobart.
i´m very happy, because last week i was just 70th in Paris :eek:
my goal was to finish 3times inside top5 the next 3 tournament (Hyderabad, Bogoat and Acapulco) and so i did the first step!
can´t wait to play Bogota ;)

i playing my first clay tournament this week, and it is the first WTA-Tour event on clay this year. so i will wait, and will not pick many matches in the first round, because i don´t know how the girls doing on clay this year. but after first round i should be a bit smarter. thats the way i will play this week, i hope it will help me to finsih top5 again :)

i´m doing well this, but with this Falcon-disaster i have no chance to win anymore
my new goal this week is to become "best non-falcon picker". this means i want to finish 8th, because 7 players picked Falcon over Leon-Garcia, and they are now more then 100 points ahead. i have 8 matches picked so far, and my W/L Record is 5:2
so we will see how the week continues

crazillo is doing well this week in Dubai, he should get his first points, and so he will get a real ranking :)

today is very important for me in PAW Bogota, i have picked 3 of the 4 quarterfinals
so far i´m 14th, but with a good performence i should move up to the top10, and then i have still 2 picks left for Semifinal and Final. i still hope to become best "non-Falcon picker" this week. this would be 8th spot in the final league table.

f*ck, just 1 pick out of 3 was right yesterday. so my chance to win this week is nearly gone. why did i picked Washingotn over Loit? i heared Washingotn was really on fire in qualifiyng and first round. sh!t. this was once again a stupid decision. :(
now i really want Vaidisova to lose, because all on the top has played 10 matches, and this would mean the can pick Vaidisova til the final, but this would be boring, so i want her to lose. better for the game :)

okay, Indian Wells is up to start
it is my 4th big tournament (after Aus-Open, Tokyo and Paris)
and i never finished inside top30 at this tournament
at the lower tournaments i entered i was allway to12, and twice on the podium
so i hope i can finally reach the top30 in a big event.
i decided to start slow, i saw few other player have already picked 9 matches from the first round, but i picked just 4 so far, maybe i will add 1 or 2 more when the qualifiers are placed.
i hope my 2 german paw-pal´s can also have a great tournament

bei diesem spiel geht es darum auf den Gewinner von matches zu tippen, pro
Turnier hast du eine gewisse anzahl an "picks" zu verfügung.
z.B in Miami diese Woche 19 picks für das gesamt turnier. für jedes Spiel gibt es ein Quote.
z.B Henin vs. Davenport (6-15)
das heisst, wenn du auf Henin tippst und sie gewinnt bekommst du 6 punkte
wenn du auf Davenport tippst und sie gewinnt bekommst du 15 punkte.
für die spielerin die in der Rangliste niedriger platziert ist gibt es immer mehr punkte, dafür ist es aber auch riskanter auf sie zu tippen.
derjenige spieler der am Ende des Turniers die meisten punkte hat, hat das Turnier gewonnen. es geht also darum vorherzusagen wer gewinnt, wenn man natürlich immer auf Henin tippt liegt man zwar selten falsch, aber man gewinnt auch kaum punkte. man muss also das gespür für überraschungen haben.

warum könnte es jetzt nicht vorbei sein ;)
ich hab mich diese woche dazu entschieden viele picks in runde1. zu mahcne. weil ich habe gemerkt das ich in der späteren runden noch schlechter bin als sowieso.

I mean, who was a contender? Spikey, sandg, Geoffry, jrm, Luis (hantuchov), Je_ne_sais_quoi and I dont knwo who else was, BUT for sure not me.

mal schauen ob es genügent spieler gibt die cincy spielen wollen#die meisten spielen Athen.

wenn du gute Leistungen bringst wird es echt schwer das deutsche Team für das Fed-Cup Halbfinale zu nominieren.
aber lieber zuviel gute spieler als keine

wieso wird es denn schwer?
weil wir jetzt 6 leute sind, und nur 5 spielen können
und es ist natürlcih blöd jemanden wegzulassen der mit einer guten leistung uns ins Halbfinale gebracht hat.
aber wenn ich weiter so schlecht bin weiss ich ja schon wer nicht spielt :lol:

ach - mach dir keinen Kopf! Ich kann ja nicht erwarten, dass ich gleich voll einsteigen kann. Für mich wäre es kein Problem auszusetzen!

Stockholm hat sich ja zu einem richtigen Debakel meiner Meinung nach entwickelt - so viele falsche Picks und so viele Überraschungen. Ich hoffe ich bleibe unter den ersten 8, denn ich hab ja alle Picks schon gemacht :/

Erstmal ein herzliches Willkommen im Team rrfnpump. Jetzt sind wir schon zwei dt. Maggie-Fans. Erinnerst Du Dich an unsere PM ueber Bulgarinnen?

Ich werde bei Olympia wieder voll einsteigen, fuer den Rest der gesamten Saison. Mein Ziel ist Top-15 und ein Turniersieg.

Staffeln: Ich bin dafuer, dass entweder matthias oder ich anfange, dann Carsten und S-T-E-V-E und dann Du oder ich. Dann haben wir eine gute Klammer und Ausgangsposition.

Hey crazillo...klar erinnere ich mich daran ;) . Meinst du, Cincy findet trotz der Olympischen Spiele statt?? Ich finde das ganze Olympia-PAW ziemlich kompliziert und außerdem spielt Vera in Cincy....

Ich hab nochmal eine generelle Frage : Wie ist das eigentlich mit der "Reputation". Was hat es für Folgen, wenn man viele schlechte bzw. gute Reputations bekommt und wie kann ich selber welche abgeben? Ich versteh das noch nicht ganz mit den grünen Punkten....
